Houston in the books, Chelsea is next

After a fantastic finish by Ianni (posted below) the Sounders came from behind to beat Houston taking over sole postion of 2nd place in the league! The team play fairly well and showed tremendous heart coming from behind to get the win after a controversial goal from Montero. This week brings us to the most exciting game of the season when Chelsea visits Qwest before almost 70,000 fans! This will be an experience for anyone that loves soccer. Not only does Seattle have the loudest fans in the MLS but double that number with a lot of people never having gone to a soccer game and I think it will be a real treat. The supporter groups will be out in full effect this Saturday and all fans getting to watch it on ESPN2 will be very suprised. I would not be suprised if this game and the Barcelona game do not get a lot of foreign media coverage from Europe. Game time is 12pm PST! One last note is that Sounders FC members Kasey Keller and Freddie Ljungberg were named to the first 11 for the All Star game agaist Everton of the EPL. See you all Saturday!
